The Service Specialist for High Pressure Gas Compressors is responsible for providing expert troubleshooting, field service support, technical training, warranty analysis, and product improvement feedback for high‑pressure air and gas compressors, including Hydrogen, CO₂, Nitrogen, and other industrial gases. This role strengthens the technical support function and ensures superior service delivery to customer centers, dealers, and end‑users.
Key Responsibilities
A. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide timely, professional technical support to customer centers, field service engineers, and dealers regarding all matters related to high‑pressure air and gas compressors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex compressor issues, including reciprocating compressor mechanics, refrigeration circuits, electronic controls, and system instrumentation.
- Deliver on‑site or remote support to end users as required, ensuring minimal downtime and accurate root‑cause identification.
B. Maintenance, Repairs & Field Service
- Perform or guide repair work on compressors, dryers, and control systems according to Atlas Copco standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test instruments to ensure high accuracy during troubleshooting and diagnostic operations.
- Support technicians in executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
C. Technical Training
- Provide structured technical training to Service engineer and ,service provider /dealers, and customers on high‑pressure compressor systems and related equipment.
- Conduct refresher sessions on system diagnostics, safety protocols, and compressor/dryer controls.
D. Warranty Evaluation & Product Quality Feedback
- Review and process warranty claims, analyze failure patterns, and prepare inspection reports for field release.
- Lead proactive quality improvement by following up on failure reports and communicating product performance feedback to engineering and product companies.
E. Documentation & Communication
- Prepare detailed service reports, inspection findings, and field notifications in line with Atlas Copco documentation standards.
- Ensure all service-related communication is accurate, up‑to‑date, and shared effectively across service teams.
F. Customer Relationship Management
- Represent Atlas Copco with a professional, customer-oriented approach to enhance brand confidence and satisfaction.
- Engage with customers to understand concerns and ensure corrective actions meet their expectations.

Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
- Technical training in compressor systems, electrical/electronic controls, hydraulics, or pneumatics & Gas engine is an advantage.
Experience
- 03 to 05 years of experience in technical service roles, preferably involving high‑pressure gas compressors (Hydrogen, CO₂, Nitrogen).
- Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting reciprocating compressors, refrigeration systems, and control instrumentation.
Technical Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability.
- Understanding of control circuits, compressor/dryer controls, refrigeration circuits, and diagnostic tools.
- Proficiency with software tools used for technical reporting and system evaluation.

You will be part of our customer center in North and West Region. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, India (IN).
Preferred Location: Noida and Ankhleshwar, but we are flexible and open for other location to consider other location within specified region.
