Chicago Pneumatic, international manufacturer of professional grade automotive and industrial tools, welcomes Vincent Richardeau back to its U.S. headquarters in Rock Hill, SC, as the new Product and Commercial Marketing Leader. Richardeau worked most recently as Business Development Manager for the Oil & Gas / Energy sector at Chicago Pneumatic's parent company, Atlas Copco, in Saint-Ouen l'Aumone, France.
As Product and Commercial Marketing Leader, Richardeau will work closely with the company's product managers in a coaching and mentoring role, as Chicago Pneumatic leads the industry with new and innovative automotive and industrial products.
Richardeau has worked with Chicago Pneumatic and its parent company since 2005, when he first joined the team as a Global Product Marketing Manager in his native France. A promotion to Marketing Manager - Industrial Tools first brought Richardeau to Chicago Pneumatic's U.S. headquarters in Rock Hill, SC, in 2010. He returned to France for two years, from 2016 to 2018, and has now moved back to the U.S. in his new role.
Richardeau says he is happy to be back in the United States. "The simplicity of the way of living and the kindness of people" made the decision to return an easy one. He says in the U.S., "People are always looking for solutions, always looking for the positive." He compares the Rock Hill and Charlotte metropolitan area to his hometown of Nantes, France, in size and livability.
"We're excited to welcome Vincent back to Chicago Pneumatics Tools Group," says Product Line Manager, Mark Johnson. "He is highly customer-centric and has a proven record for delivering results. I have tremendous confidence in Vincent's ability to align our product and commercial marketing efforts with our core mission of improving productivity and making our customers' jobs safer and easier to do."
Richardeau received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management from Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham, England, followed by his Masters Degree in International Business from Bournemouth University in Dorset, England.
Richardeau and his wife Cecile will make their home in Charlotte with their three children.
