The CP7748 Our Go To Impact!

Before we launched the CP7748 1/2" impact wrench it was put through its paces by the Team at Dream Automotive based in Hertfordshire who used it on jobs such as callipers, wheel nuts, crank pulleys and bell housings.
The fact that it is only 175mm in length proved especially useful to mechanic Charlie when he used it on the shock bolt fitting in a limited access area. The 17mm impact socket stayed firmly retained on the tool and he says this is not often the case with impact wrenches as the retainers are usually flimsy and sockets can often work loose. It was ideal for removing and fitting the hub nut when he had to fit a ‘coil over suspension’ on a Honda Civic.
Owner Phil Crafford then found it ideal on a Honda Civic FK8 when working on the rear sub frame bolt to fit sub frame collars. He especially liked the one hand reverse ring system that gave ease of use with single-handed operation with two forward settings and full power of 1300Nm in reverse.
We at Chicago Pneumatic feel that this tool puts ‘power, comfort & durability’ in the operator’s hands and in conclusion Dream Automotive owner Phil agreed saying in his words that in the six-week evaluation it became their ‘go to tool’.
