Wow, I can't believe it's SEMA time again already! I guess time really does fly by when you're having fun.

This is a special SEMA issue of Cranked Up Conversation. We noticed an uptrend in the number of vocational career centers, automotive technicians, and hobbyists around the country working on ratrods. Why you ask? Well, ... They're fun to build, every one presents its own challenges, each one is unique, and they are rather inexpensive.
 
This special SEMA edition focuses on this nostalgic, innovative, and rapidly growing hobby. Not to mention, you need some pretty darn good tools to tear apart an old rusty clunker and turn it into a tire burnin', head turnin', smokin' hot rod of a ride.

If you have a build, rat rod or not, that you'd like to show off, please send me the pics and we'd be glad to include it in a future issue.
