Chicago Pneumatic launches its most compact and lightweight air tools for the automotive aftermarket
Size matters. In response to user demand and market trends for smaller, lighter tools, Chicago Pneumatic is excited in the launch of its most compact and lightweight air tools for the automotive aftermarket. This compact range is ideal for use inside the vehicle and engine compartment where tight spaces restrict the movement of conventional tools.
The new CP7711 and CP7721 ultra-compact ¼” and 3/8” butterfly impact wrenches are just 5.5” (140mm) long and 2” (50mm) across, and provide a maximum torque of 80 ft-lbs in a 1.16 lbs package. Ideal for use on small vehicle applications such as oil pans, seat bolts and body panels, the butterfly ultra-compact wrench is also suitable for motorcycle repair and maintenance. The CP7727 and CP7737, 3/8” and ½”angle impact wrenches offer a more powerful, durable and compact solution to current market alternatives for engine repair which provide up to 220 ft-lbs of torque with a length of just 9” (240mm).
Concluding the compact range is the CP7732C ½” stubby impact wrench that uses its new design and ergonomics to provide greater comfort to the user. The new CP7732C is 23% lighter than other comparable impact wrenches, while still providing up to 460 ft-lbs of torque for the user. This next generation of stubby impact wrenches is ideal for general vehicle maintenance use across all size vehicles.
