 Service Engineer- CNG 

Job Description

Mission

To implement the CNG aftermarket operations and support service organization to grow CNG business and increase customer share with an objective of achieving the GPP aftermarket sales targets within the oil free air business structure and guidelines.

Chicago Pneumatics Compressor Technique Customer Centre, India, has seen substantial growth in recent past in terms of volume and complexity. It is therefore decided to strengthen the organization structure with following objectives : Better divisional and product focus Greater and profitable Market Share Competence development of resources Better efficiency

We have introduced some new positions to be more focused and efficient in the market. In view of the same, we are now looking for a dynamic person to shoulder the responsibility of Field Service Engineer. 

1.Service management

  • Managing CNG Station of allocated territory with highest uptime
  • Inventory management for O&m Contracts Development of sub contracting team
  • Follow Atlas Copco Service process Customer relationship management

2. Operations Management Monitoring of Operations and maintenance of CNG compressor.

  • Compliance of Service Level agreement with customer.
  • Responsible for existing and new Operations and maintenance Contract Management with the help of service team.
  • Timely planning and completion of preventive maintenance of CNG Compressor and associated accessories.
  • Errection and Commissioning of new CNG compressor package.
  • Complying with legal requirement of contract and submitting invoice timly.
  • Regular payment follow up with customer. Inventory planning and management and follow up with logistic for delivery.
  • Service job reporting through MAM2.Service Job opening and closing within time.
  • Monitor Non-Core purchase for specified territory.
  • Support Vendor orders management & payment Processing & keeping record with the Service team.
  • Prepare training calendar and Training of aftermarket dealer service personnel and customer personnel

3.Customer relation management

  • Active customer relationship management with C& P and technical team of customer/consultant.
  • Ensure excellent rapport and contact with customer’s /consultant’s.
  • Regular visit to customers.

4.Compliance with Corporate Guidelines

  • Follow in letter and spirit the Atlas Copco Vision, Mission and core values
  • Comply with the Atlas Copco Business Code of Conduct - Comply with SHE guidelines
  • Comply with the policies and procedures communicated from time to time
  • Perform any other tasks given by supervisor from time to time
  • IN ORDER TO enrich the Corporate Culture

5.Other Effective coordination between order execution team, PC ,ISC and service team operation manager.

  • Fast and error free response to customer query.
  • Complete responsibility of CNG Service business technical and operations activity for given territory.

This position reports to Manager Sales & Service - Central 

Experience requirements

Thorough understanding of GPP equipment Service KPI's : Business and product knowledge in CNG market segments and experience in customer service.

Knowledge

Sound Business Acumen, Good people management skills, Good Communication skills, Resourceful, IT skills (Knowledge of MS Office applications ,SAP) Stress Resistant

Educational requirements

Degree/Diploma in Engineering with experience in CNG aftermarket is preferred

Personality requirements

  • Result oriented with a self-motivating personality
  • Strong communication skills in English & presentation skill
  • Strong leadership skills, able to work in a team at all levels
  • Ready to travel extensively
