The Chicago Pneumatic CP1820 series is a very powerful and durable range of reversible drills for metal working applications. Their robust design makes these two industrial drills ideal for intensive vertical drilling, reaming and tapping operations.

CP1820
The CP1820 series includes the CP1820R22 model featuring 480 rpm for 7/8” (22mm), and the CP1820R32 with 380 rpm for 1-1/4” (32mm). Powered by 1.2hp (890W) and 2.8hp (2100W) powerful reversible motors, the CP1820 drills meet the high-performance needed in heavy industries such as ship and boat building, mining and construction, railroad and rolling stock.

Thanks to their huge stall torque 57.8 ft-lbs (78.4 Nm),  144.6 ft-lbs (196 Nm) and their reversible function, the CP1820 drills can be used for drilling, reaming and tapping on an extensive range of materials, from forged steel to plastic.

CP1820 application
The CP1820 drills offer robustness as well as user comfort. They feature a robust housing as well as strong and durable gear box, and generate very low vibration level 3.8 [m/s²] for CP1820R22 and 2.5 [m/s²] for CP1820R32. The CP1820 series heavy duty drills include a self-return rolling throttle to prevent operation error and a morse taper socket to hold drill bit tight and firm for better safety and higher precision.
