Latest finds from 'Indie' the Iguanodon

October 19, 2017

Indie Air Scribe

On a recent visit to Fossils Galore Chicago Pneumatic witnessed first-hand the latest finds from ‘Indie’ The Iguanodon. Adding to the recent discovery of the Metatarsal, Phalange & Ankle bone, the Fossils team showed parts of the rib cage, ossified tendons, and claw bone. The skeleton of Indie is clearly starting to appear now as some of the larger blocks of clay begin to be investigated.

To help with these larger blocks sponsor Chicago Pneumatic presented palaeontologist Jamie Jordan with a B18BV vibration dampened chipping hammer, Jamie said this will greatly assist the initial preparation before the finite work starts.
